The first reunion of the space campers from ESC 2007 was held October 4-7 in Trondheim, Norway. We had a lot of fun, and we feel bad for everybody that could not attend.

The people attending the reunion (in some way) was Tasha, Maite, Ellen Marie, Camilla, Ole, Eirik, Daniel, Erlend, Nora, Børge A and of course me; Stian.

We took a lot of pictures and here are some of them:

Summer of 2007 is now history, and everyday life has started once again, the difference for me this time is that after 11 flights, traveling about 26·106 meters, visiting Northern Norway, London, New York and San Diego, I did not end up back home; I ended up in Trondheim, Norway where I have started at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology; new place, new people and new possibilities. The only downside so far is that I did not manage to process the summer properly before I started my studies, although it will hopefully happen with time.

My grand finally for this amazing summer was Siggraph 2007 in San Diego, California, USA. Siggraph is a world leading conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive techniques. I worked as a student volunteer, together with 400 other students, during Siggraph. I had a great time over there, and hope I might be able to attend another year to, although I am afraid it will collide with European Space Camp next year.

I did not take many pictures during my Siggraph trip, now I figure I should have taken more, but anyway, here are some of them;

I recently went to London for a few days with my dad. We had a wonderful stay and I have decided to share some of the pictures I took. This was my third visit to London; nevertheless some of the pictures are from the most common tourist attractions.

The pictures are only in a gallery this time, so you have to contact me if you are interested in a particular picture, or you could try the print screen button…

European Space Camp 2007 has come to an end. I had an absolutely fantastic week, and now I miss all the campers. Luckily we can stay in touch through the internet and maybe even meet in person again. We can start by looking through the many pictures, which was taken during the camp. Below is my contribution, I have tried to reduce the number of pictures, because altogether we got several thousand, but it was not an easy job. In addition I reduced the size to maximum 1280 by 1024 pixels. This greatly reduces the disk usage. Just notify me if there are one or several pictures you want in full resolution.

The filenames has the following structure; ESC 2007 [number in sequence] [month][day of month] [hour].[minute].[second].jpg

The extra information is called metadata, and is just some of what the camera usually stores, mine also stores all the settings I use for each particular picture, but I thought that the date and time would be the most interesting for you. Additional metadata has been removed in order to save space ;)

Thanks to everyone who has been in front- and behind of my 400D!

I still have some five thousand pictures the team and some of the other participants have taken; I will probably go through some of them and post them here.

Thanks again Space Campers for being so wonderful!

You need winrar to unpack the files. If you do not have it you can download it here.
